Over 30 Hamas And PIJ Terrorists Dead Following Israeli Airstrike On UNRWA School

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has launched an airstrike at a UNRWA school in Gaza which killed Hamas and PIJ terrorists.

(PLGNN) -
An Israeli airstrike hit a United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) school in Gaza, which was where over 30 terrorists from Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) were launching attacks from.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released an image showing naming nine of the PIJ and Hamas terrorists killed in the strike. Some partook in the October 7th massacre, which was the largest killing of Jewish individuals since the Holocaust.

This is reportedly the 5th time that IDF has caught Hamas and PIJ operating from a UNRWA school. IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari said in a briefing that the terrorists planned and launched attacks from three classrooms within the UNRWA school.

The IDF also stated that they delayed the strike twice due to them identifying civilians in the area. They reportedly only sent the strike once intelligence indicated that there were no women or children inside the compound. The IDF used precise munitions which were reportedly United States-made.

News organizations reporting on this were quick to report that Israel killed over 30 individuals in an airstrike, not specifying the IDF briefing that stated the people killed were terror operatives. United States state department spokesperson Matthew Miller claims the US has received reports 14 children were killed in the strike. This caused media personalities such as Piers Morgan to speak out, condemning Israel. However, Hamas-controlled media were the ones to report these "casualties". PLGNN cannot independently verify either group.

The United States is now calling on Israel to identify publicly the terrorists it had killed- just as the Israeli military released the names of the nine seen above. Israel frequently identifies the terrorists they target in airstrikes, however it is extremely rare for the United States to request them to do so.

Israel  "told us there were 20 to 30 militants they were targeting [and] they’re going to release the names of those they believe they’ve killed, those militants”, United states  state department spokesperson Matthew Miller said. “That is what they have said they would provide. We expect them to do that, as well as any other details that would shed light on this incident."

The United Nations has since added Israel to the global list of states and armed groups have have committed violations against children. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to this, saying on X, "The UN put itself today on history's black list when it adopted the absurd claims of Hamas. The IDF is the most moral military in the world and no 'flat earth' decision by the UN secretary general can change that."

Since the October 7th surprise attack by terrorist group Hamas, over 1,400 Israelis have been killed along with 36,000 Palestinians, with the later toll coming from the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry.
