(PLGNN) - In the first 3 games of the NBA finals, the Boston Celtics showed their dominance as an eastern powerhouse and the reason they're sitting in first seed. Every single player on their starting 5 were able to put up great numbers. However, going into game 4, everyone expected the Celtics to win it all right there with a clean sweep. In a surprise turn of events, The  Dallas Mavericks shockingly were able to put up a dominating performance, ending the game 122-84 and taking it to game 5.

This was all possible because of Mavericks leading stars, Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. Kyrie played a great game dropping 21 points and 4 assists against the team that hates him the most. Even with many chants and hate comments from Celtic fans, Irving was still able to put up a good performance helping the Mavericks secure game 5.

Unlike Kyrie Irving, Luka has been dominant the whole series with no bad games. Dropping 29/5/5 on a elimination game shows why he's been on the top 5 point guards almost his whole career. If anyone, it's him who can lead the first team in history to comeback from a 0-3 deficit.

One of the main reasons for Celtics defeat in game 4 may be Porzingis' injury. During game 2 last Sunday, Porzingis' suffered a torn medial retinaculum in his left leg. This led him to miss 2 games and possibly be out for game 5 and maybe the rest of the playoffs. An injury on the starting 5 is one of the worst things that can happen, especially in the finals where everything's on the line.

Game 5 is on 6/17 5:30 PST. This will be played in the Celtics TD Garden. With home advantaged Celtics may be able to close out the series but many Maverick fans still have hope after game 4.
