(PLGNN) -
Police departments around the world have been trying to attract more people to join the force, and the Miami Beach Police Department just added a 2012 Rolls-Royce Ghost to their recruitment team.

On May 9th, the Miami Beach Police Department posted to social media a short video of a 2012 Rolls-Royce Ghost with a police livery and red and blue sirens

The police department said it the vehicle was added to be a recruitment tool to attract new officers to the department.

The MBPD added a note stating, "
This vehicle is part of Braman Motors’ fleet, and Braman Motors has sponsored all costs associated with this project in accordance with the CMB Policy."

This addition did spark controversy, with one user saying, "This is where all the money goes to huh?", to which the MBPD responded with, "Hi! This vehicle was sponsored by our partners at Braman Motors."

The Turkish Police force along with the Dubai Police in the United Arab Emirates have also been known to use luxury cars as a part of their police force.
