The Minnesota Timberwolves in their 35 years of franchise history, have never ever made it to the playoffs; but this year was different. Rising star Anthony Edwards leads the team sweeping the Suns with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. Then later beating the 2023 champions, the Denver Nuggets. Although having a strong run, they meet the Mavericks, crushing all hopes of NBA finals. "We'll be back next year"- Anthony Edwards during the postgame interview.

The Mavericks are now back into the NBA finals after their championship in 2011. Going down the hardest road imagined, the Mavericks beat the Clippers super team, the first seed Thunder, and finally the Championship contender wolves. These achievements were led by their star guards, Luka Dončić and Kyrie Irving.
"It's not done, we need four more"- Luka Dončić during the postgame interview.
