The release date of GTA VI might have just been discovered by an in-game shirt.
(PLGNN) - The GTA VI trailer was released in early December, and took the internet by storm, amassing 100 million views within a day. At the end of the trailer, it was revealed the game will be releasing some time in 2025.
Players were quick to notice that the planned release of the trailer fit into a number sequence of a GTA online T-shirt released in June 2023. The shirt was listed at one of the in-game clothing stores under the section "GTA Anniversary", and contained a secret message that fans quickly deciphered to mean "ONEDAYWILLREVEALALL". The shirt had many different number sequences in it, the sequence 12523, which is the day the GTA VI trailer was announced to release. However, the trailer ended up dropping early due to leakers.

The number sequence 040125 is also featured on the shirt, and fans believe that this may point to the game releasing on April 1st, 2025.

These sequences are just fan speculation at the moment, and nothing has been confirmed by Rockstar Games (the company behind Grand Theft Auto), so it's unknown whether the game will actually release on that day in 2025.
