With the recent terrorists attacks in Israel, FaceBook has found itself hurled in the middle of yet another controversy.
(PLGNN) - Recently, the terrorist organization know as Hamas has invaded Israel, claiming to be acting on behalf of Palestine. Israel and Palestine have been in conflict for a long time, however Hamas took it to an all new extreme last weekend when they entered Israel and shot everything in their path, including young children, elderly people, and babies. Hamas is calling for an extermination of all Jews, and over a thousand Jews have died, which is the largest number of Jews massacred since the Holocaust.
The Hamas have posted many videos of them doing these horrible acts to different social media platforms, and posted a video of them murdering an elderly woman on the woman's FaceBook account. On October 10th, Mark Zuckerberg posted this statement to his Instagram story:
The statement, posted on his official account @zuck, reads, "The terrorist attacks by Hamas are pure evil. There is never any justification for carrying out acts of terrorism against innocent people. The widespread suffering that has resulted is devastating. My focus remains on the safety of our employees and their families in Israel and the region".
