Biden Mistakenly Introduces Zelensky As 'President Putin'

United States President Joe Biden has mistakenly called the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, "President Putin".

(PLGNN) -
United States President Joe Biden had an embarrassing verbal stumble at a NATO summit Thursday, when he mistakenly referred to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as "President Putin". President Biden is currently under intense scrutiny, with many Americans concerned for his mental competency.

Biden appeared to mix up Zelensky with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who has waged a devasting war on Ukraine for over two days. The Biden Administration has continuously supported Ukraine during this conflict, sending weapons and over $100 billion in aid to the Ukrainian government.

"And now I want to hand it over to the President of Ukraine, who has as much courage as he has determination," Biden said at the NATO event in Washington D.C.

"Ladies and gentleman- President Putin," Biden catches his mistake after, saying "President Putin. He's going to beat President Putin. President Zelensky. I'm so focused on beating Putin, we gotta worry about it."

Zelensky quipped "I'm better," to which Biden responds, "You Are a hell of a lot better".

This comes as many are calling for Joe Biden to drop out of the presidential race, fearing that he is too old, and instead put forth a new, younger, Democratic nominee. Joe Biden is the oldest sitting United States President ever, at 81 years old. The second oldest was Ronald Reagan, who was 77 years old at the end of his tenure.
