Trump Floats New Logo To Rebrand ICE To NICE

President Donald Trump appears to be considering a possible rebrand of ICE to NICE.

(PLGNN) -
United States President Donald Trump appears to be floating the idea of changing the name of Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to National Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (NICE).

Trump posted a photo to his social media platform on Tuesday, May 5, showing the acronym NICE with alongside a golden-winged eagle and five stars. The post coincided with the Mexican holiday Cinco De Mayo, which celebrates Mexico's victory over the Second French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862.

Homeland Security posted a screenshot of this post to their X account, with the caption "National Immigration and Customs Enforcement," followed by an American flag emoji.

The Democrats X account quote tweeted the post, saying, "Your agents killed a mother in cold blood and called her a 'f*ckin' b*tch.'"

This is referring to the January 7, 2026 killing of Renée Good, when Good was shot and killed by ICE agents after attempting to injure an agent with her car. The ICE agent whom she hit was then hospitalized.

The logic for the proposed name change of ICE to NICE is so that the media have to call them NICE agents instead of ICE agents.
