Rapper Lil Wayne has responded to an apparent diss from Kendrick Lamar.
(PLGNN) - Lil Wayne has responded to a call out from Kendrick Lamar on Lamar's new album, GNX.
Kendrick Lamar called out Lil Wayne by name in the opening track "Wacced Out Murals" on his surprise album GNX, saying, “Used to bump Tha Carter III, I held my Rollie chain proud / Irony, I think my hard work let Lil Wayne down”
Lil Wayne apparently wasn't happy with this lyric, tweeting out, "Man wtf I do?! I just be chillin & dey still kome 4 my head. Let’s not take kindness for weakness. Let this giant sleep. I beg u all. No one really wants destruction,not even me but I shall destroy if disturbed. On me. Love."
Kendrick Lamar was one of the most famous rappers this year following his beef with fellow rapper Drake, which saw the release of record-breaking songs.
