'How Much Does It Cost' Elon Musk Hints At Buying MSNBC

Tech billionaire Elon Musk is hinting at buying MSNBC.

(PLGNN) - Tesla CEO, X owner, and SpaceX founder Elon Musk is hinting at buying news company MSNBC.

Wall Street Mav, an X account dedicated to business and news, tweeted, "Comcast is putting MSNBC up for sale. CNN just announced massive layoffs coming. Maybe the new owners will figure out that lying non-stop to your audience is a lousy business model."

The oldest son of President-elect Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., responded to this, tweeting, "Hey @elonmusk I have the funniest idea ever!!!"

Elon Musk responded to this tweet with, "How much does it cost?", a throwback to a 2017 exchange where Musk posted "I love Twitter", and a user responded with "You should buy it then", to which Musk responded "How much is it?". Musk then bought the social media site for $40 billion, and renamed it to X.

Elon Musk hinted more at buying MSNBC, quote tweeting a screenshot of the exchange, saying, "The most entertaining outcome, especially if ironic, is most likely."
