The most anticipated video game of all time has gotten a trailer after a decade of waiting.
(PLGNN) - Grand Theft Auto V is perhaps one of the most popular games of all time. It released in 2013, and took viewers to the city of Los Santos, a fictional city inspired by Los Angeles, California. Although it was the fifth game in the series (not including the non-numbered GTA games), players loved the story and the environment of the game and it made over $1 billion over the first three days. Now, Rockstar Games, the company behind Grand Theft Auto and Read Dead Redemption has put out the trailer for GTA VI, a game players have waited over a decade for.
On December 1st, the release date of the trailer was announced by Rockstar Games on Twitter, and it was revealed that the GTA VI trailer would release on Tuesday, December 5th at 9AM Eastern Time.

On December 4th, the trailer started to get leaked so Rockstar quickly published it to their official channel in order to prevent leakers from getting to the game first. The trailer quickly went to #1 on Trending on YouTube, and is trending all over X (formerly Twitter). The video received 20 million views in the first two hours of the trailer being published to YouTube, and 100 million views in the first day.
The video concluded with a look at the new Grand Theft Auto logo, and announced that the game will release in 2025.
